by Stewart Permutt, Jessica Martin, Robert Howie
Jermyn Street Theatre
New York International Fringe Festival 2005
Waterloo East Theatre 2010
Jessica Martin is ‘Veronique Raymond’ a self proclaimed Hollywood legend. The British daughter of a Busby Berkley ‘Gold Digger’ discovered selling doughnuts at the Hollywood Canteen.
From Movie Star to the toast of Parisian nightlife, a Vegas lounge singer and cult TV icon. On the eve of her long anticipated comeback, Veronique tells her story of rags to riches, and back again, through songs and comical anecdotes featuring over thirty Hollywood stars including Marilyn, Brando, Liza, Stewart, Bette, Judy, Streisand and Merman.
A gutsy versatile singer, and also a very talented mimic, a musical comedy star of the first magnitude.

Danny and Sylvia - a musical love story
book and Lyrics by Robert McElwaine and Music by Bob Bain
Jermyn Street Theatre 8-26 November 2005
They were a just couple of kids from Brooklyn, him an undisciplined comic with wild talent and her an audition pianist with boundless ambition. Their love story forged a partnership of genuine respect and mutual brilliance that was to be the backbone of both their careers as Danny Kaye, an international star and Sylvia Fine, a globally successful songwriter.
Danny and Sylvia is a new musical that tells the story of the day they met and follows their relationship through their courtship, marriage and the strains of success. With an original book and a score of over twenty songs, plus songs associated with Danny Kaye, like ‘Minnie the Moocher’ ‘Tchaikovsky’ and his signature tune ‘Anatole of Paris’ written by Sylvia Fine.
